英文详解
You say that you are your father’s daughter, and we all get that.
You also talk about the critics, and you have a couple that say “Why isn’t Ivanka speaking out? Where is she on Planned Parenthood? Where is she on gay rights? Where is she on the rights of women? Where is she on climate change?” and it’s, like, you’re being held personally accountable for not speaking up.
What do you say to your critics?
Get that : 明白，了解，我们都懂这点
Critics : 评论家；批评者；吹毛求疵的人
A couple : 本身的意思是一对夫妇，但是在整句里面的意思是“有些人”
Speak out :
①大声说出；清楚地说出：例句: Speak out; we can't hear you. / 大声点，我们听不见你在说什么。
②大胆说出；坦率地表达(意见、观点等)：例句: You'd better speak out,which would help you. / 你最好大胆地说出来，这样也许对你有好处。
③把…说出来：例句: He spoke out the truth. / 他说出了实情。
Where is she on...：这里用“where”替代了本来的“what”，更加强调了立场。
It’s like...：就好像是，口语中常用。
Accountable for : 对…(事)负责

I would say not to conflate lack of public denouncement with silence. I think there are multiple ways to have your voice heard. In some cases, It’s through protest and It’s through going on the nightly news and talking about or denouncing every issue on which you disagree with. Other time it is quietly and directly and candidly.
Conflate : 合并
Lack of : 缺乏；lack表示缺乏，不足的表达方式有几种：lack sth（直接加名词），lack of sth, lack（名词：不足，缺乏）
Multiple : 许许多多的
Have sth done : “have + sth （宾语） + 过去分词（宾语补足语）”意为“让 / 叫 / 使 / 请别人做某事”.宾语 sth 后面用过去分词作宾语补足语,说明 sth 与过去分词表示的动作之间是被动关系
In some cases : 有时候
Protest：抗议；反对
Nightly news ：晚间新闻
Denouncing ：谴责，斥责
Other time：另一些时候，和 in some cases照应。
Candidly：坦白地；率直地；直率而诚恳地
So where I disagree with my father, he knows it. and I express myself with total candor. Candor : 坦白；直率；candidly的名词形式。这里用介宾短语with total candor替代了副词，既丰富了表达方式，看起来又很高级。
Lean : 作动词表示倾斜；倚靠；作形容词表示瘦的。
Lean on : 依赖；靠在…上。例句：And so that means they need someone like you to lean on.也就是说他们需要像你这样的人去依赖。
Lean in : 投入。例句：And we're constantly told to lean in to work, to push harder.
而且我们总是被灌输 要投入工作，要加倍努力。
Asset：资产；I can be an asset to him，直译过来是我可以是他的资产，实际上的意思是我可以帮助到他。非常有趣的比喻。英文里面有很多这样的句子，通过一些比喻来表达实际的意思。
这段话伊万卡首先避开问题的刀锋：
我没公开说话不代表我没私底下跟我爸说啊。我也有不同意我爸的时候，我就直接说的！
但是随后又给爸爸抹了层光：
我爸是个好听众！他听意见的！
言下之意：（他虽然不一定会照做但是他听了意见）
We heard the phrase- ‘Complicit’ that Jared and Ivanka are complicit in what is happening to the white house. Can you just weigh in how you feel about that? There have been articles, there have been parodies. What do you think about that accusation?
Complicit : 有同谋关系的,串通一气的.
Weigh in :
①发表意见；例句：British Prime Minster David Cameron invited Obama to weigh in like this.英国首相戴维·卡梅伦邀请奥巴马就这个问题发表意见。
②权衡；例句：So, why not weigh in while I pray for my sins? 所以，当我为自己的罪孽祈祷的时候权衡下呢？

If being complicit is wanting to be a force for good and to make a positive impact,then I’m complicit.

I don’t know what it means to being complicit, but I hope time will prove that I have done a good job and much more importantly that my father’s administration is the success that I know it will be.
伊万卡对第二个问题的回答几乎没有什么难词，都是很简单的词汇，但是人家照样说得不卑不亢优雅从容。
“嘿，你说我做的不好，那you can you up 啊！
我是我爸的同谋，但我们是为了国家好的。我相信他会做个好总统的！”
看完访谈，不得不佩服，真正的美是由内而外啊。
你可以说特朗普一家奇葩、虚伪、高调，但是人家在面临质问的时候有条不紊的坚定着自己的立场，内敛平和又不失礼貌。
